Thinking about how Legend has barely left Twilight’s side since he woke up

Cannonically speaking, Legend's had very few strong male role models to look up to in his life. His uncle was the only father figure he ever knew and after he watched the man die, he was left with no one.

Generally speaking, when a boy starts becoming a man, especially in those teen years as JoJo said Legend is in, they need a male role model to follow so that they know how to be a good man. Legend lost his uncle, he lost Tarin, they both "died".

Twilight has actually been stepping up to Legend in a way that not even Time has done. While I wouldn't say it's a paternal relationship, we have seen Twilight call Legend on bad behaviors, encourage him and offer comfort when he's feeling down or at his weakest, and even offer a playful attitude that most of the others are hesitant to display to the vet. In short: Twilight is the only supportive, strong role model Legend's had in a long time. Having lost two already, and having almost lost Twilight recently, it's no big shock he's basically glued to Twilight's side: he wants to make sure that Twilight doesn't leave him too.

Twilight no longer just has Wild. The thing is, I don't think he knows yet

The way this scene in the latest update plays out, we get the impression that Wild and Twilight are already very close, although the relationship is somewhat strained in some respects as they sort out boundaries, limits and how much Twilight can handle of Wild's self.

In short, Twilight is the big sibling and Wild the little sibling.

What I see coming in the last few updates though, is that Legend is sort of the quiet middle kid. And before anyone starts coming after me about Legend being quiet, please notice that Legend very rarely talks more than he needs to, and usually only about important matters. This update shows him quietly sitting and just existing with the others.

We do know thought that Twilight has been reaching out to him, and we've seen him and Wild talk about some sensitive things together (Mipha), so while it's still something Legend seems unsure of, and isn't quite comfortable inserting himself into their dynamic, i see these three holding a sibling bond with enough time. One that's actually a bit healthier than it already was because they balance out better with more than one person for Twilight to fuss over, and more than one person for Wild to go to.

In short; Legend's the middle child of this weird family and I'd die for him
